Let’s Talk Surgery was founded by Eman Jama, a plastic surgery advisor and consultant who has worked within Istanbul’s medical and aesthetic industry since 2014. Starting as a patient-abroad coordinator, Eman built her career supporting international patients through every stage of their surgical journey from initial preparation to post-operative recovery.
Over the years, she has worked alongside renowned surgeons and hospitals, serving as a plastic surgery coordinator and international department manager, witnessing firsthand what happens behind the curtain of clinics and operating rooms.
Her experience observing surgical procedures and managing clinics from the inside gave her the unique insight to identify what makes a truly skilled surgeon and an ethical practice. Understanding the medical side is one thing , understanding how patients feel and what they need throughout the process is what changes everything.
Empowering Patients Through Knowledge and Real Insight
After earning a 100% academic scholarship to study Economics and completing C2-level Turkish language training at Istanbul University, she went on to earn her Medical Tourism Certification as well as certified programs in patient care, elderly care, and patient rights, expanding her vision beyond consultancy.
She founded Mia Recovery Heaven Istanbul’s first dedicated post-operative care company in 2019, combining recovery expertise with a focus on education, ethics, and patient well-being. Today, Let’s Talk Surgery continues that mission: To provide honest, data-driven guidance and match patients with board-certified surgeons and medical professionals who prioritize safety and help patients navigate an industry filled with marketing noise, price tags, and misinformation.
